dc.description.abstractChildren's literature and its translation are considered new fields in the literature arena. In this paper, the issue of translating children's literature is addressed and the specific problem of children's identity formation in the Arab Islamic world is examined. This study then explores translation theories related to ideology formation. Finally, suggestions and recommendations for preservation of cultural identity are put forward.en_US
