A poster submitted in ENG 207 taught by Dr. David Prescott for the Fall 2013 semester.
The reliance of the world on fossil fuels has been increasing at a very fast rate through the last few decades. Vehicles are built and used in nearly all the countries for easier transportation. To control the transportation process and to limit the speed of these vehicles, speed bumps are built. The vehicle slows down approaching the speed bumps to overpass them easily and safely. While the vehicle is slowing down, some of its kinetic energy is lost. The objective of this report is to show how this kinetic energy loss can be used to obtain electricity as a green energy by using electricity generating speed bumps.
