    Description
A poster submitted in ENG 207 taught by Dr. David Prescott for the Fall 2013 semester.
    Abstract
Our project aimed to develop a cost-effective charging station that can be retrofitted onto existing infrastructure, making it advantageous to own an EV. To achieve that, the team had to address three problems. First, obtaining a clean energy source for charging. Second, the electrical energy obtained must be stored in a cost effective and safe manner which can be integrated easily with current gas stations. Third, EVs use high power cables to charge that can be dangerous, and therefore a better charging solution needs to be implemented.
